Learn About Bursitis

People that have suffered from bursitis know that it is an extremely painful health condition.  Bursitis occurs when the sac-like structure in different joints becomes swollen and inflamed.  This sac, or bursa, helps lubricate the joint and protect the joint from injury.  People commonly develop bursitis in the elbows, shoulders and knees. Symptoms of bursitis include pain, swelling and difficulty moving the affected joints.
